Comunique of LACTLD meeting in
Montevideo, Uruguay, March 2004.
On March 29 and 30, 2004, in Montevideo Uruguay, a meeting
of LACTLD has
been held, with the goal of approving and signing the constitution
documents of the organization.The meeting was attended by 14
ccTLDs of the
region and 2 observers.
In the same opportunity, the board of LACTLD was elected for the
period
2004-2006, wich is composed by Oscar Robles (.mx) as president,
Margarita
Valdés (.cl) as Secretary and Eduardo Santoyo (.pe) as
Treasurer.
The Oversigth Committee is composed by Demi Getschko (.br),
Sergio
Ramírez (.uy) and Jessica Calvo (.cr) .
In the meeting they were discussions about administrative and
operative
matters, and also the organization reaffirmed the importance
of joining
the ccNSO, as a way to participate in ICANN.
En the next few days, the LACTLD website will be updated with all
the
information of this changes and the work plan of the organization.
